Photography Requests, Terms of Use:
July 2010–Thank you for your interest in our photos. Based on inquiries similar to yours, we are working to improve our Photo Gallery features, image sharing and comment capabilities. Please check the website regularly to see what’s new.
While we do not claim to be professional photographers, we are always happy when our images make someone smile! We are not in the business of selling photos but we are striving to make photos available to individuals who make an effort to contact us personally.
Currently, you can obtain photos in the following ways:
Free Downloads (Honor System)
Most browsers will allow you to copy the photos directly from our website. For PC users, right click on the thumbnail, select “save image as” and perform the usual steps to save to your device. The images posted are low resolution (.jpg) files with our copyright “watermarked” on or through the image. Feel free to post and share downloaded images “as is”. Just promise to include our copyright info, appropriate photo credit and/or a link to our website.
Better Resolution, Other Services Desired?
Let us know which images you would like to have and your specifications. Standard pricing is provided based on quantity, resolution, delivery method and intended use. Email us the order information identified below. Quantity pricing will be quoted upon request, custom service packages will be considered on a case by case basis.
Level 1: Low Resolution, with Watermark on Outer Edge
Delivered by email, 1 – 3 images, $40 (minimum). Additional images up to 10, $5 each. Image quality suitable for web use and personal sharing. Purchaser agrees to utilize images “as is” with copyright info included for appropriate photo credit. Image size approximately 400 x 600, 72 dpi.
Level 2: Low Resolution, No Watermark
Delivered by email, 1 – 3 images, $50 (minimum). Additional images up to 10, $6 each. Image quality suitable for web use, personal sharing and small prints. Purchaser agrees to give appropriate photo credit with each use of image. Image size approximately 400 x 600, 72 dpi.
Level 3: High Resolution, Suitable for Advertising Use
Delivered by Email, or on CD if file size total is larger than 5 Meg (by US Mail). $50 per image (plus shipping, if applicable). Image quality suitable for larger prints, print advertising, unlimited personal use. Purchaser agrees to give appropriate photo credit with each use of image and publication. Purchaser agrees to provide image file of ad, if published. Image size approximately 3000 x 2400, 300 dpi, or best available from raw files.
