MIAMI BEACH (CBS4) – A South Beach waitress is recovering after a dog attacked her on Labor Day weekend. She received 300 stitches, according to an Animal Services report first obtained by CBS4 News partner The Miami Herald.
The woman is a waitress at Lincoln Road’s famous Van Dyke restaurant. On Labor Day weekend, a woman came to the restaurant with her dogs. Witnesses tell CBS4 that the waitress brought a bowl of water to one of the dogs, described as a large black mastiff.
