A friend of mine dogs and other random dogs were poisoned at a show this past weekend with rat poison.
It was at the Kansas city, MO show and it was 2 English Cockers and a Chinese Crested. I think there were more that we’re poisoned but I know these 3 were for sure.
Here is her post from facebook:
“WARNING!!!! 2 out of 4 dogs I carried with me at the last show I attended were poisoned. It was all random as some other dogs also faced the same fate. PLEASE everyone watch your dogs as best as you can. I never left my kids unattended unless I was showing a dog or using the bathroom. WATCH your dogs had I not I would of not been able to save them.
If you could post something about it on your website or facebook warning people about it. It is suspected that animal activists did it. There have also been reports from other people at dog shows that this has been happening a lot lately. Just wanted you to know so you could possibly warn people to be on the look out.”
