The inaugural event held in Eukanuba Hall at the Roberts Centre is the Afghan Hound Club of America’s 2011 National Specialty. The National Specialty is being held today through Friday.

Eukanuba and The Roberts Centre are pleased to announce the Grand Opening of the Eukanuba Hall at the RobertsCentre. A Best in Class dog and cat event venue!In addition to the Holiday Inn attached to the event center, many hotels are located within 10 minutes with little or no additional fees for pets; some even offer dog-bathing rooms. I am in one of those pictures!! It was a perfect show site. I have attended almost every Afghan National Spec. in 30 years and this was one of the best. Is there room for some slight improvement, of coarse, but overall it was great!! The visual impact of the room when you walk in is overwhelming. The carpet, the flowers, the table covers, the unique ring enclosures made it easy to see the dogs move take great pictures and gave a big open feeling to the facility. There is so much land at the Roberts Center I can see that becomimg the premier dog facility in the midwest-especially with the attached hotel. I am sure in the future you will see other resturants build close by as Max and Erma’s is the only one available.
