Hey Hartfordites,
A local couple has lost their dog in the city. Nala is a 50-pound Rodesian Ridgeback puppy. She slipped away from her owners in Bushnell Park Monday evening after being frightened by a loud noise.
She is a one-year-old, medium-sized dog with brown fur. She’s wearing a red harness with a blue retractable leash attached. She was last spotted in Bushnell Park on Tuesday afternoon.
The couple, who adopted Nala, said she had experienced abuse in a previous home and is very timid and shy. Her owners are worried about her.
Anyone with information about Nala’s whereabouts is asked to please call owners David Thomas and Jacqueline Rabe at 202-744-4985 or 202-494-8607 .
They are offering a $500 reward for the dog’s safe return.
