CANTON —Nearly 600 dogs will compete in this year’s McKinley Kennel Club Dog Show. The show will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 11 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 12 on the Stark County Fairgrounds in Canton.
Admission to the show is free. There will be a$5 per car parking fee.
The dogs will compete in obedience, rally and confirmation events.
Vendors will sell canine products and food – for both people and dogs – will be on site. The event also will feature basket raffles with proceeds benefiting area fire departments for the purchase of canine and feline oxygen masks.
